We would do well to remember the acronym C.A.R.E. The Bible tells us to watch out for each other, pray for each other, and be other-minded by bearing one another’s burdens.

All of life’s successes come from initiating relationships with the right people. For example, by networking and then strengthening those relationships using good people skills. One of the keys for winning in life is building good strategic relationships, but let it be a win-win situation, not just the attitude of “what can I get out of this relationship”. Instead we need to have the attitude of “what can I put into this relationship to bless the other party”.

I dare you to build strategic relationships. I dare you to be a blessing to somebody this day.

With teamwork you can achieve so much more

I love this quote by leading author John C Maxwell. We need to build teams. Teams maximize a leader’s potential, and minimizes their weaknesses... Teams share the credit for victories and the blame for loses. This fosters genuine humility and real community.

In contrast, when individuals take credit or blame alone this fosters pride and sometimes a sense of failure. Teams can simply do more than an individual. If you want to reach your potential or strive for the seemingly impossible – such as communicating your message two thousand years after you are gone, then you will have to become a team player.

As John Maxwell says, individuals play the game, but teams win the Victories.

Divine destiny

One day God dropped this powerful thought into my life, “Shaun believe in your divine destiny, see yourself in God’s will for your life, see yourself fulfilling the call to which you are called, by seeing yourself doing those things I have called you to.”

See yourself in your future in God. We are drawn to our dominant thinking patterns. Also our mind does not think in words, it thinks in pictures! Therefore we must hold a picture in our mind of where we want to be and what we want to do. We must see ourselves doing those things we dream about and hold these thought pictures in our mind.

What we see in our mind will come to pass in time. We must believe that our God is able. He is able to perfect that or fulfil that which concerns us. We do our part, and God works behind the scenes doing His. This day believe that God is for you and not against you. Believe in your future in God, believe in your divine destiny.
