Thankyou to all mothers for having us

A big thankyou and a big prayer today to all mothers for having us.

Emerson said, “people are what their mothers make them,” and Abraham said, “all I am or ever hope to be I owe to my angel mother.” Let’s face it, every person small and great had a mother and without them we wouldn’t be here. History records that most of the great achievers had dedicated mothers.

It is also interesting to note that Nero (who burned Christians alive) had a mother that had committed murder. A mother’s role in nurturing her babies must never be underestimated. Lord Shaftesbury made a statement once, he said, “give me a generation of Christian mothers and I will undertake to change society in twelve months.” It is true to say that the influence of a mother in her home, upon the lives of her children cannot be measured. The mother-infant bond is an intense relationship of unparalleled human affection. It is the foundation of the child’s emotional and physical survival.

We love you our mums, and want to say, “have a great mothers day today.” – To all mothers mother’s day.

Working towards your dream

“You have to stay awake to make dreams come true”

Many people dream of worthwhile accomplishments, while others stay awake and work on them to make them come true. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:3, “the dream cometh through a multitude of business.”

We must dream but then we must add sweat, effort and supply work to the dream to bring it to pass. The word multitude in the above scripture means excellent, increase, more abundance. We must put excellent worthwhile effort and energy into our dreams.

Put some action into your dreams, do something, take a positive step towards your dream. If you are not sure how, enlist others into your dream ask their advice. Find someone who has done something great and ask them to mentor you. But in doing this make sure they are people who believe in your dream and are achievers themselves.

Don’t just get “yes” men either – you need people who will point out possible pitfalls as well. Remember as the Word says, in the abundance of council there is safety.

Reaching the ultimate goal

“Difficulties are stepping stones on the way to success”

Jesus said, “in this world you will have tribulation (problems, temptations, tests, and trials, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.”

Jesus has paid the full price for your victory, your success in life. The road to success is full of highlights, joys, rewards and other pleasures, but it is also has more than its fair share of problems, challenges and difficulties. Don’t let these difficulties become stumbling blocks that discourage you from going any further. Don’t allow these problems to get you down or make you quit or give up. Don’t throw in the towel.

Instead, realize that these very problems are your stepping stones on your journey to success. As each one is overcome your confidence grows, your experience increases, and you understand more. You have applied knowledge and you have grown, you have learned, you have another victory and a testimony.

You are now one step closer to your ultimate goal. These very problems that you are facing are your stepping stones. You can do it, you can win. Jesus is on your side and if God be for you, who can be against you.

Being Unreasonable

“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
George Bernard Shaw

Unreasonable means “not governed by reason, exceeding reasonable limits, going beyond accepted or reasonable limits.” Jesus was an unreasonable man, He went beyond what our natural minds could comprehend. He walked in, moved in, and lived in the miraculous.

He did unreasonable things, with just five loaves and two fishes – He fed the multitude of people. Jesus walked on water, restored sight to the man born blind, by faith He brought healing and deliverance to all that came to Him.

Jesus was not limited to (or by) His circumstances; He served a limitless God, fulfilling the Father’s Will to the max. The Bible tells us how God was In Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their transgressions unto them, and has given unto us the Word of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19).

The Word says in Romans 12:1, “be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” I dare you in a good sense to be unreasonable and do unreasonable things. Go on you can do it you can win, go and change your world for the better with the love and power of God.
